Staff Physical Therapist

Job Overview

The Staff Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services including evaluation, assessment, treatment, follow-up, and documentation for all patients/athletes based on clinical assessments and patient/athlete objectives. Must maintain a respectful, kind, energetic, and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and assess patients’/athletes’ physical conditions, needs, and goals
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient/athlete evaluations, progress, treatments, and notes
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment programs for patient/athlete based on clinical assessment and patient/athlete objectives
  • Implement treatments such as trigger point dry needling with or without e-stimulation, cupping, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and/or IASTM
  • Monitor patient/athlete progress and adjust treatment plan, if necessary
  • Maintain clean and organized clinical space
  • Actively develop AND  foster relationships with local gyms, and professional sports organization including community events
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small groups for educational clinics
  • Assist in annual Fire Rescue Throwdown competition
  • Communicate respectfully, kindly and professionally with patients/athletes, staff, providers, etc. in fun and engaging manner
  • Courteously share the clinic space with other staff members and patients/athletes
  • Lead by example by living an active lifestyle
  • Lastly, but one of the most important, HAVE FUN and enjoy working with your preferred population!

 Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Role will be developed with growth of business

 Qualifications

  • Master of Physical Therapy/Doctorate of Physical Therapy, required
  • State-specific Licensed Physical Therapist (PT), required
  • Sports Background-preferred sport, recommended
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), recommended
  • Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), recommended
  • Emergency Medical Responder (ERM) Certification, recommended
